Handwritten postcard from Rabbi Shimon Tzvi Horowitz of Chernivtsi, sent to his father, the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai and his family.


In the letter, he tells of his visit to a physician and the improvement in his health. He inquires after the well-being of his mother and siblings, and especially of his wife, the Rebbetzin, asking her to keep sending him letters about how she and their daughter are faring.

On the reverse, sender and recipient’s addresses in Latin. Postal stampings which include the date, but the year is illegible. Stains. Good condition.
