It is said in the name of the holy ‘Sfas Emes’ of Gur that every young man should go as far as pawning his Tallis and Tefillin in order to purchase the Sefer ‘Magen Avraham’.
On the title pages and first pages is the stamp of “Chevra Kinyan Seforim Timișoara… Asher Yonah Weinberger”. Also has many penciled notations from other notable people in Timișoara.
