Letter requesting support for the Breslav Yeshiva, signed by the Rabbonim of the Yeshiva – Rabbi Levy Yitzchak Bender and Rabbi Yechiel Michel Dorfman – 1989.


Addressed to Rabbi Menachem Porush, the Rabbonim beg and request regarding “Breslav Yeshiva in Yerushalayim” which boasts a student body of over a hundred young men: “Lately we have found ourselves in dire financial straits, and even after many reductions and budget cuts we are at an unprecedented situation financially. Therefore we beseech for our souls and public.”

Rabbi Levy Yitzchak Bender and Rabbi Yechiel Michel Dorfman are from the great Tzaddikim of Yerushalayim and from the leading Rabbonim in Breslav.
