Important edition. First title page states it was printed in “Warsaw” and the second title page states it was printed in “Vilna”.
‘Shneur’ Book Publishing and Booksellers” of the Chossid and Mashpia Rabbi Zalman Shmotkin, from the founders of Yeshiva Tomchei Temimim in Warsaw, one of the largest and most famous branches of this Yeshiva network; editor of the ‘HaTamim’ newsletter. When the Rebbe RaYa”Tz left Russia, he entrusted R’ Zalman with several trunks containing his manuscripts, as he relied on him. In due time, R’ Zalman risked life, limb, and wealth to save these manuscripts from destruction.
Reb Zalman merited to
write the Kesubah at the marriage of the Lubavitcher Rebbe and the Rebbetzin Chaya Mushka, which took place in Warsaw in 1929.
