Letter sent by the holy Gaon Rabbi Moshe of Stolin to Va’ad Hayeshivos in Vilna, 1932.
Entirely handwritten and signed by him, the letter deals with sending money to his Yeshiva and to the rest of the Yeshivos. Rabbi Moshe of Stolin advises how to send the money and in what way it should be distributed.
He ends his letter with holy blessings of grace, joy, and good, and signs his name.
Rabbi Moshe of Stolin [1889-1942] the fourth son of the renowned Rav, Rabbi Yisrael of Karlin [also known as ‘Der Frankfurter’ or the ‘Yanuka’]. Served as Admor in Stolin after the passing of his holy father and there established a large yeshiva. Many admired him and sought his advice. Was renowned for his vast knowledge of the secrets of the Torah, as well as art and extensive secular fields of knowledge. Perished in the Holocaust.
