“The honorable holy tzaddik, our master Admor of Rachmestrivk Shlita” – Torah Or, a Torah compendium published by the Belz Yeshiva in the first year after the passing of the holy Rabbi Aharon of Belz.


On the title page, a notation in the handwriting of the holy Rabbi Yisrael Mordechai of Rachmestrivk, stating the Sefer belongs to his holy father: “the holy tzaddik our master, Admor of Rachmestrivk Shlita” – the holy and famous Rabbi Yochanan of Rachmestrivk.

On the margins of the pamphlet is a list of students of the Yeshiva who had become betrothed.

Originally coverless. Many stains on the cardboard cover. Notations and scholarly notations, in a handwriting that is not that of the rebbes, inside. Slightly damaged cover. Good condition.
