Letter of greeting handwritten and signed in the holy hand of Rabbi Yisrael Mordechai of Rachmestrivk; sent to the miraculous tzaddik Rabbi Yehuda Zerchya Segal, Rav of the Kiryat Shalom neighborhood. 1984.
The letter was sent as a response to Rabbi Segal’s letter of blessings on the occasion of the Rebbe’s daughter’s wedding.
The Rebbe extols him with many honorific titles: “Our honorable strong friend and relative, the great Rabbi, of honorable name etc. Rabbi Yuda Zerachya Segal Shlita”.
The Rebbe refers to his as his relative due to their shared familial connection through the family of Rabbi Bechor Azulai and the Chida.
The Rebbe writes in his blessing: May Hashem grant at the merriment of your children abundant joy and only good and Chessed will follow you forever.
