✵ Another letter, in Yiddish, regarding Hachnosas Kallah, in which the bride’s parents beg for "Mercy" from the fund’s presidium, for they need to marry off their daughter and need their help; followed by the Rabbi’s signature.
✵ Another letter regarding sustenance for children, in which a father literally asks for bread for his young children, writing: "but now the water has risen above our heads for the children are crying for the meagre bread and sorrowfully I do not have the means to help them". At the bottom of the letter is a handwritten addition confirming the above and a blessing, with the signature of the Rabbi.
