Volume of Gemara used by the holy Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Chaim of Sloni, known affectionately as “Reb Mottel Slonimer”. Warsaw, 1865.


The volume contains tractates Gittin, Nedarim, Nazir, and Sotah. Title page for tractate Gittin is missing. Volume originally missing the first 6 pages till pg. 8, where Reb Mottel Slonimer signed with his holy hand in full: “Mordechai Chaim son of R”YL Slonim”.

On the other title pages are ownership notations from the time, 1872:
“Yaakov son of Yisrael Mendel of Bardichev”. Additional ownership notation on the title page for Nedarim:
“Alter of Bendir, son of RA”S Wein Stein, grandson of the Tvu’os Shor”.
