Bill of sale from the Beis Din of the Gaon Rabbi Refael Silberman – Tzfas, June, 1903.
Via this document, Rabbi Yosef Chaim son of Yisachar of Mezhibuzh sells his house and courtyard in Tveriah to his daughter-in-law, Beila, daughter of R’ Shalom Shachna Horowitz. The undersigning witnesses are R’ Eliezer Shamash and R’ Moshe Shmuel Shamash (apparently sextons of the Beis Din). Underneath their signatures is the stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Refael Silberman, Av Beis Din of Tzfas. On the back of the page are signed the seller, Rabbi Yosef Chaim of Mezhibuzh and his tow sons, r’ Yitzchak and R’ Nochum Tzvi.
