Sefer “Ateret Tzvi” by the Maharatz Chayut – collection of six compositions on various Tora-based research. Zolkiew, 1841 – First edition – exemplar of the Torah researcher Rabbi Shem-tov Gagin, with his interesting research-based comments, signed by him.


Rabbi Shem-tov Gagin (1884-1953) Served in as Rabbi of the Sephardic community in Manchester, and as Av Beis Din of the Sephardic community in London. Known as a prolific researcher of Torah subjects. Famous for his monumental 7 volume work “Keter Shem Tov” – explaining the sources of customs and detailing the differences between Ashkenazi and Sephardic Nussach, as well as the differences between Eastern and Western Sephardic customs.
