Shulchan Aruch Yoreh De’ah – Fürth, 1725 – scores of scholarly glosses from the mid-1700’s.
This volume is full of scholarly glosses dating back to the mid-1700’s. Most of the glosses are on the Halachot of Shchita, Treifos, and Niddah.
The glosses were written after 1773. This is apparent from the fact that he mentions repeatedly the Sefer “Tiferes Yisrael” by Rabbi Yehonasan Eibshutz on Hilchos Niddah, which was printed in 1773. In addition, he quotes the “Kreisi U’Pleisi” extensively.
[1], 352, [3] pp. The first page following the title page and pg. 85 are missing. Pg. 209 was bound upside-down. 32cm. Stains and wear. Extensive wear on the last few dozen pages. Some pages detached. Original binding, covered with leather, damaged and partially detached. Fair condition.
