Mas’at Binyamin, Responsa with Halachic Chiddushim on all four parts of the Tur, by Rabbi Binyamin Aharon. Gestlick Speyer Segal press, Metz, 1876. Second edition, rare.

On the title page, a printer’s mark “And thus is for the Leviim”, with an image of a Levite washing the hands of a Kohen. With stamps: “From the estate of the holy Gaon Rabbi David Zussman Stern OBM, son of (Rabbi Yosef) OBM”; stamp of the Gaon Rabbi Menachem Nathan Auerbach of Jerusalem; stamps of “Rabbi Menachem Mendel Halevi Wollman of Wieruszów in the holy city of Yerushalayim”; and with a notation: “to the Oholei Yaakov Shul from the estate of the Gaon Rabbi Moshe Leib OBM”.

Rabbi Menachem Nathan Nota Auerbach (1858-1930) – was ordained by Rabbi Yisrael Yehoshua of Kutna, the “Yeshuos Malko” and by his son-in-law Rabbi Chaim Elazar Wax, author of ‘Nefesh Chaya’. Emigrated to Eretz Yisrael in 1872 and served as the Rabbi of the Ruchama neighborhood in Yerushalayim. Was one of the founders of the Chief Rabbinate and was the speaker of the Associasion of Rabbonim and Morei Tzedek in Yerushalayim. Was related by marriage to the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Chaim Sonnenfeld and R’ Zerch Barnet (from the founders of Me’ah She’arim, Petach Tikva and more).

Rabbi David Zussman Stern (passed away on Jul. 25, 1969) – famous Rosh Mesivta and educator in Brookly, who raised thousands of disciples, did much Chessed, and influenced many to repent from their sins. Was buried On Har Hazeitim.
