Sefer Sha’arei Efraim, from the important latter Halacha works, by Rabbi Efraim Zalman Margolis of Brod. Forged edition, simulating the first edition of Dubna, 1820.


The title page is a forgery. This Sefer was actually printed in Poland-Russia, ca. 1825, as written in Rabbi Chaim Liberman’s research ‘Ohel Rachel’ vol. II, pg. 525.

The flyleaf contains contemporary notations regarding the history of the forgery.
