Postcard, condolence letter handwritten by the Gaon Rabbi Yosef Leib Sofer Av Beis Din of Paksz. 1908.
In the letter he thanks one of the members of the Kollel in Yerushalayim for a beautiful Estrog he had sent him, and adds his condolences over the untimely passing of his wife during childbirth.
“Hashem will console him doubly, and give him strength for many more years to stand watch, and h he will find joy in his sons after him”.
