Postcard letter from Maran the Imrei Moshe, the holy Gaon, Rabbi Moshe Sokolowsky to Va’ad Hayeshivos in Vilna, with his request to be informed whether the Knessiyah Gedolah of World Agudas Yisroel, which had taken place at that time in Vienna had produced any substantial help for the holy Yeshivos. Elul, 5689 (Sep. 1929).
Postcard, entirely in his handwriting and in his signature, in which he requests that money be sent for his Yeshiva, Toras Chessed Brisk, in which he also inquires whether the second Knessiyah Gedolah of World Agudas Yisroel, which had then been convened in Vienna, had done anything concrete on behalf of Va’ad Hayeshivos specifically and for the Yeshivos in general.
Rabbi Moshe Sokolowsky writes that he was unable to participate in the important global convention due to his poor health:
“Also please let me know if any concrete assistance for the Yeshivos came forth from the convention , I couldn’t travel due to the weakness of my health.”
The letter concludes with his pure blessings:
“and all those who do and cause to be done in the holy work should be blessed with a Kesiva Vechasima Tova to ling and good life in the book of complete Tzaddikim, as is the wish of he who honors and cherishes them, awaiting the redemption.”
