On the front flyleaf is a dedication as a gift to the scholarly groom, scion of holies, Moshe Aharon Halberstam from the Y. Yoel Friedmann.
Many signatures of Yoel Freidmann as a youth and young man.
The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Moshe Aharon Halberstam Av Beis Din of Kaloshitz (1904-1942). Son and successor of the famous holy Rebbe, Rabbi Chuna of Kaloshitz (Kołaczyce) and Reisha, and son-in-law of Rabbi David Dov Meisels of Újhely. Served as Rabbi of Kaloshitz from 1936, starting as the “Young Rabbi”. Was martyred during the Holocaust together with his entire family.
