The Siddur with which Am Yisroel’s Pillar of Prayer, the holy Rebbe of Tosh, clove to Hashem. The one in which he carried on his pure and exalted work. With many notations and names written down to be prayed for, for salvation, mercy, and the redemption of Israel.
Siddur “Avodas Halevi” 8th edition. Apr. 2011, printed in Kiryas Tosh, under the supervision and guidance of the Rebbe of Tosh, with wonderful clarity and precision, with all the Holy Names spelled out in full.
On the cover, which was fashioned like all his Seforim, is embossed his holy name “Meshulam Feisch Segal Lowy”.
On the flyleaf is written: “This holy siddur was given to me by K”K the holy Gaon of Tosh OBM, to my hands, and that holy Gaon used it for a time during the years 5771-5772 (2011-12).
The Siddur shows use, tear stains, and handling. These marks are especially visible in the pages for P’sukei Dezimra of Shachris, especially by Ashrei. Additionally many use markings in Shachris for Shabbos.
The holy Rebbe, Rabbi Meshulam Feisch of Tosh (1921-2015), was born in Tosh to the holy Rav, Rabbi Mordechai, son of the holy Rav, Rabbi Elimelech and grandson of the Saraf of Tosh. He passed his younger years in exalted Avodas Hashem to a level that is incomprehensible by the human mind. At the age of 12, he traveled to Kalov, there to study by his uncle, the holy Gaon Rabbi Asher Lowy. Suffered greatly at the hands of the cursed Nazi, but even in the depths of the Holocaust he did not give up one iota and managed to keep Mitzvos through various schemes. Most of his family was lost in the pits of Auschwitz, but he empowered himself with his trust in Hashem, and became a pillar and symbol of pure faith, helping many others from falling. Began serving as Admor after the war, and led the remnants of the disciples and attendees of his ancestral house. Shortly thereafter he immigrated to Canada, where his name became renowned across the Jewish world as a wonderous miracle-worker and a cornerstone for myriads. Raised thousands of G-D-fearing disciples and served Hashem in purity and faith. During the last 2 decades of his life, the flow of supplicants coming to his court in Kiryas Tosh increased greatly, and he became known as Am Yisroel’s pillar of prayer of the generation.
