On the reverse of the title page is a dedication, written in the author’s handsome handwriting:
“A gift sent to the lofty Rabbi, the exalted Dayan, honored… Rabbi David Cardozo, You, Hashem, will keep him and crown him with honor and glory, satisfy him with long days, and raise and exalt him”. Followed by his personal stamp:
‘Servant of Hashem, Aharon Refael Chaim Moshe, son of Yitzchak Ferrera, S”T’.
