Unique and notable Yemenite scribe’s handwriting, including special writing and decorations.
Decorations at the top of the first age of Shir Hashirim. With short glosses and corrections on the margins, some of which are cut off at the pages’ end. Written on the last page is “The commentary on Kohelet is complete, with the help of He who governs all. Blessed is the merciful one who helped us, blessed is He and blessed is His name. Blessed is He who gives strength to the weary. A poor and weak scribe.”
[46] pp. Renewed binding with the colophon of Dr. Chaim Horowitz. Moth holes, stains, pastings. Some pages darkened due to the acidity of the ink. Small defect on one page. Bottom margins on last pages were cut so these pages are shorter than the rest. Good condition.
