1 page, written on both sides, in the holy handwriting of the famous Gaon Rabi David Oppenheim, Av Beis Din of Nikolsburg and Prague, and Chief Rabbi of Moravia.
This page is part of his work “IrD Avid”, which was not printed. It is known that the greater portion of his Chiddushim were never printed.
Rabbi David Oppenheim (1737-1836), from the great Geonim of Ashkenaz and the generations. Born in Worms. Was ordained at about the age of 20, and at the age of 25 was appointed Rabbi of Nikolsburg. After twenty years in Nikolsburg he became Rabbi of the illustrious Prague. The greatest Rabbis of the generation sought his approbation of their works, and he gladly, and with graciousness, gave out many such approbations. Authored around twenty Seforim in Halacha and Agaddah, amongst them the Responsa ‘Nish’al David’.
