Personal letter from the Lubavitcher Rebbe, with glimmers of Chassidus and Kabballah. Adar 1986. 2 pages with handwritten additions.
The letter refers to the qualities of the date of the 1st day of Rosh Chodesh Adar II, in the essence of the two Adars and the connection between them – according to his known method on the connection between the two months of Adar and their being like one long month.
The letter was typed up and sent specifically for the recipient, an important Rabbi. Written with extra honorifics, with addition of the term “closet full of Seforim”; with additions in the Rebbe’s holy handwriting and his pure signature.
This letter was sent specifically to the recipient, and not as part of the Rebbe’s general mass-produced letters which were sent with just an added personal line for each recipient. This letter was dictated specifically for this honorable Rabbi, who, apparently, had let the Rebbe know of the date set for a wedding, on Rosh Chodesh Adar.
The Lubavitcher Rebbe expounds and explains with concepts of Chassidus, whith glimmers of Kabballah and the Hidden Wisdom showing up repeatedly.
In a rare occurrence, a second page was attached, on which are listed extended comments and references to the things written in the letter itself.
The original envelope in which the letter was sent is enclosed.
[3] paper items: 2 pages and an official air-mail envelope with the recipient’s name and address, and postal stamping. 2 pages stapled together as sent. Fold marks. Very good condition.
