The holy Sefer Yismach Moshe, from the foundational Sifrei Chassidus – second edition – Sighet, 1898. Exemplar given as a loving gift by the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Yekusiel Yehuda Teitelbaum Av Beis Din of Sighet, son and successor of the holy Atzei Chayim of Sighet, to the renowned Chossid Rabbi Lipa Lefkowitz, from the great men of Torah and Chessed in Satmar and supporter of its institutions after the war – faithful emissary of Maran the holy Rebbe of Satmar, who sent him to preside as chairman of the Va’ad Hatzalah in the US.
On the flyleaf and on reverse of the title page is written:
“I received this Sefer as a gift for a sign and memory and a mark of pride for me from C”K the Rabbi, sharp and versed, new tankard full of old wine… Maran Yekusiel Yehuda Teitelbaum Av Beis Din of Sighet, son of C”K Admor ZT”L, holy and awsome man of G-D, Maran Rabbi Chaim Tzvi Teitelbaum Av Beis Din of Sighet and its area. So speaks his faithful disciple who grovels at his feet, the young Chananya Yom Tov Lipa Lefkowitz, 9th of Shevat 5687 (Jan. 12, 1927), here Sighet”.
Also a stamp of Rabbi Lipa from his time in Großwardein. In those days he would also frequent the Tzaddikim of Viznitz. His name is also embossed on the cover and spine.
