Letters of greeting sent from the Gaon Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Brody, son-in-law of the ‘Kitzur Shulchan Aruch”, Rabbi Shlomo Gansfreid, to his son Rabbi Chaim Broida, Chief Rabbi of Prague. 1899.

In both letters he tells that all is well by them and they have already recovered from their illness, both he and his wife, the Rebbetzin, mother of the recipient, “Thanks to Hashem she is healed and is ‘better of sight’ than last year”.

The letters are written in Hebrew, and one of them is followed by a long addition in German, in flowing script.

Please see the Hebrew listing for biographical information on Rabbi Shlomo Zalman Brody.
