Manuscript. “Sefer HaMat’amim”, the reasonings of Shechita and Treifos, by Rabbi Yaish Vizman, a disciple of Rabbi Yaish Krispin (Morocco). 1934.


“This is my Sefer, I, the young Yaish Vizman, from the residents of Walad Hassan village”. Sefer HaMat’amim, the reasonings of Shechita and Trifos, with responsa on the laws of slaughtering and examining. Morocco, 1934.

This Sefer was never printed, and was written when the author was in his 20s.

Rabbi Yaish ben David Vizman (1914-1980) – from thedisciples of Rabbi Yaish Krispin, one of the great scholars of Morocco. Rabbi Yaish Vizman’s Sefer “Torat Chacham Mekor Chayim” on the Torah, holidays, and Sugyot of Shas was published in 2012. In it he includes quotes from his teacher, Rabbi Yaish Krispin.
