Two letters of blessings and public advocacy from Moreinu the Tzaddik Rabbi Yaakov Rosenheim, founder of the Global Agudas Yisroel, beloved confidant of Gedolim.
✵ Letter sent to the renowned Jerusalem activist Rabbi Moshe Porush, congratulating him on his election as vice-mayor of Jerusalem, in 1951.
The letter, entirely handwritten and signed by Rabbi Rosenheim, is written on an official letterhead of Agudas Yisroel, “Office of the President”, Tel Aviv.
Letters using this letterhead are rare, especially ones handwritten by him.
✵ Letter of greetings and information updates, sent to Rabbi Menachem Glikman Porush. Typewritten in German, it also mentions Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levine, chairman of the global committee and son-in-law of the Gaon the Imrei Emes of Ger.
The letter was sent during the period before Rabbi Rosenheim immigrated to Eretz Yisrael.
