Medrash Pinchas, elucidation of the Aggados of Rabba Bar Bar Chana and of the Sages of Athens, first edition. London. 1795.
This edition contains a preface from the author, Rabbi Pinchas form Wissocki, a Rabbi and orator who travelled across Europe. He printed the Sefer in London in 1795 during his travels.
This exemplar has a different title page, without the year and place of printing, and with some writings on the title page. It is possible that this is a rare variant in which the title page of part 2, which is missing here, was mistakenly printed for part 1. This exemplar is also missing the lists of pre-subscribers.
[3], 40, 13 pp. 24cm. The title page of the second part was apparently printed for at the beginning.
The title page and some others are dismantled at the spine. A few moth holes, stains and wear. Old, cover with mistakes. Fair-good condition.
