Small historic document, confirmation of salary payment to the Geonim, the Mori Hora’ah in Jerusalem, for the month of Tammuz, 1926, signed by the leading Gedolim of Yerushalayim.
The document detailing the names of the recipients is signed by some of them. It appears that the writer is Rabbi Refael Katzenelenboigen, who also signs in the name of the Gaon Rabbi Mordechai Leib Rubin.
Besides for them, also signed are Rabbi Yitzchak Tzvi Rivlin, Rabbi Yaakov Moshe Charlap – via his son Rabbi Yosef Charlap, Rabbi michel Horowitz, Rabbi Menachem Nosson Auerbach and the Gaon of Teplik, Rabbi Shimshon Aharon Polansky.
