With handwritten dedication from the publisher, Rabbi Shneur Zalman (son of Rabbi Menachem Mendel) Mendlowitz, grandson of the author, charity collector for Kollel Chabad, founder of the “Tzemach Tzedek” shul in the Old City and the Great Synagogue of Chabad in Chevron.
With the rare approbations of the sons of the “Tzemach Tzedek” (in the last months of their father’s life), of Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik Av Beis Din of Vitebsk (from the leading disciples of the Ba’al HaTanya), as well as the approbations of Rabbi Yisrael Salanter, the Malbim, the Maharil Diskin, and the “Aruch Laner”.
On the front flyleaf is a dedication in Eastern writing, handwritten and signed by the publisher, Rabbi Shneur Zalman Mendlowitz, to the philanthropist Rabbi David Chayt. Rabbi Shneur Zalman’s signatures appear on the front flyleaf and pg. 3.
The publisher writes at length n his preface regarding his travels as collector for Kollel Chabad and of his finding favor in the eyes of the renowned philanthropist Rabbi David Sasson who gave him large donation for the construction of the “Tzemach Tzedek” shul in the Old City and for the great synagogue of Chabad in Chevron.
This Sefer was printed via the donation of Rabbi David Sasson’s children, In memory of their father.
