‘Documents of the holy Shomer Emunim!’ Personal notebooks, Kvittlach, and notes, lists of standing donors from the greatest of the community of the “Shomer Emunim” society, disciples of the holy Rebbe, Rabbi Aharon Roth, author of Shome Emunim and Taharas Hakodesh.
The collection includes Kvittlach, personal ledgers of the expenses of the Rebbe and the court, including loans the Rebbe gave out, lists of standing donors including many Gedolim, and expenses for the Tishen and the society.
Among the expenses: ‘loans to Admor Shlita’ purchase of wine and bananas, loans to the Rebbetzin and to other Chassidim.
Handwritten notes and Kvittlech the Rebbe received from the disciples, and handwritten lists of names.
It appears that a small number of the names are in the holy handwriting of the ‘Shomer Emunim’ himself.
Among the standing donors listed are Maran the Gaon Rabbi Aharon Cohen, Rosh Yeshiva of Chevron, whose soul yearned and was attracted to the holy disciples of the Shomer Emunim; the Gaon Rabbi Shimon Kalfus, the brothers Rabbi David and Rabbi Yisrael Yitzchak Levi, the Gaon Rabbi Dov Sokolowsky, the famous scribe Rabbi Yisrael Rosenzweig, Rabbi Avraham Mordechai Yozevich with the rest of the group are mentioned several times, both as standing donors and in other topics.
