Important and historic document fro the holy city of Tzfas, from 1923, the height of the polemic regarding the division of money for the Kollelim of Vizhnitz, Kossov, and Bkovina – in which the community leaders and supporters sign on to an agreement to unite and work together under the name “Help committee for Eastern Galicia and Bokovina”.

The intent was to create one uniform body that would travel to the US and Canada in order to collect money simultaneously for all three Kollelim.
The people listed as official collectors for the united Kollelim are: Rabbi Duber Grossberg, Rabbi Chaim Dan Kuker, Rabbi Shneur Zalman Grossman – father of the Gaon Rabbi Yisrael Grossman – Rabbi Yaakov Winkler, and Rabbi Moshe Barzel, from the leading Chassidim of Ruzhin in Tzfas.

The document was supposed to be signed by all members of the Kollelim in Yerushalayim, Tzfas, and Tveriah, but this exemplar carries only the signatures of the people of Tzfas.

Leading the signatories are the renowned Chassidim and leaders Rabbi Dov Ber Krauthammer, Rabbi Alter Stein, Rabbi Moshe Stern, Rabbi chanich Zundel Goldzweig, Rabbi Pinchas, Rabbi Chaim Shimon Freidman, Rabbi David Krauthammer, Rabbi Mordechai Shechter, Rabbi Chaim Leib Halpern, and many more.

Paper document, pasted on cardboard as a restoration attempt. Many markings from adhesive tape that impact the quality of the signatures. Fair condition.
