Letter written in the name of the holy salvation worker of Shtefinesht by his confidant and gabbai, Rabbi Shraga Feivish Goldenberg, sent to Rabbi Avraham Leib Silberman, Av Beis Din of Tzfas, who toiled and lent a hand on behalf of the Rebbe and the Kloiz in Tzfas. Undated.
In the letter, the gabbai writes, in the Rebbe’s name, that the letter sent from the community in Tzfas had arrived, including their mention that they pray for the Rebbe and the court by the holy gravesites in the ancient cemetery.
‘And on this came the reply from Admor, the Saba Kadisha, that he should quickly write how much money they need for themselves and for the fixing of the holy Kloiz in Tzfas’.
At the end of the letter he gives over that they should tell R’ Yehoshua Mordechai of Chaitin that the holy Tzaddik Rabbi Nochumne is in Shtefenesht.
[1] lined paper. Handwritten by the gabbai with his signature and stamp “serves in the inner sanctum”. Filing holes. Stains and light wear. Good condition.
