The Seforim carry the personal signature of the Gaon and Tzaddik Rabbi Yitzchak Mendel Alter, son of Maran the Gaon Rabbi Nechemia Alter, son of the holy Sfas Emes, and one of the Roshei Yeshiva Sfas Emes in Yerushalayim.
Rabbi yitzchk Mendel Alter was considered one of the greatest of the Sfas Emes’s grandchildren, studied and lived in yerushalyim. Returned to Poland where he perished together with the European diaspora.
