Special letter sent by the illustrious refugees in Lodz post WWII, headed by the chassid and revered educator Rabbi Gad Eisner and in his handwriting, sent to Maran the holy Imrei Emes of Ger, in Yerushalayim.
The letter was handwritten and sent by the revered Mashgiach, the illustrious educator and Chassid Rabbi Gad Eisner, who was joined by the Chassidim Rabbi Shimon Zuker, Rabbi Itche Leser, Rabbi Yisrael Yosef Mittleman, Rabbi Avraham Noach Halevi Lipsker, and Rabbi Avraham Kroll.
In the letter, they relate to the Va’ad Chassidei Ger that the important Mrs. Rechil Sternbuch had donated them one thousand Dollars, an immense sum for the time, and they request that this information be made known to the Imrei Emes of Ger, bringing her name to the Rebbe so that he should bless her that she should continue succeeding in her deeds of charity.
The Chassidim all signed their names, and note the philanthropist’s full name: “Rechil Bat Sarah Hendil”.
