Most stamps say “Member of the Beis Din Hagadol of the Chief Rabbinate of Eretz Yisrael in the holy city of Yerushalayim”, and one stamp says “manager of Or Chadash and Tzemach Tzadik company in Yerushalayim” with notation in Sephardic handwriting (Algerian or Moroccan) at the beginning of each volume.

The Gaon Rabbi Ovadia Hedaya (1889-1969) – member of the Supreme Beis Din of the Chief Rabbinate of Eretz Yisrael, from the prominent Poskim among the Jews of Haleb – Syria, and from the leading Dayanim in Eretz Yisrael. Rabbi of Petah Tikva and Rosh Yeshiva of the Kabbalist Yeshiva Beit El. Author of “Yaskil Avdi”, “Shalom Vatzedek”, “Avdei Hamelech”, “Avda Derabanan”, ”De’ah Vehaskel” and more.

Old, half-leather bindings. Moth holes and stains. Damage and pastings on bottom of several pages, some with damage to text. Single pages with extensive damage and pastings. Missing title page in vol. I. some pages bound out of order. Fair-good condition.
