Printed at the press of Rabbi Chanina Lipa and his brother Rabbi Yehoshua Heshil Shapiro, grandsons of the Rav of Slavuta.

Six parts in five volumes.

In this Slavuta edition, §155-156 of Orach Chaim were printed for the first time. Additionally, this edition included the approbations of Rabbi Hillel of Poritch and Rabbi Yitzchak Eizik, Av Beis Din of Vitebsk, a disciple of the author (a different one thaen that which he had written for the 1847 edition).

Volumes I-IV had originally two title pages (the inner title page is missing in vol. III). Some of the letters on the first title pages are in red ink. Approx. height: 20-22cm. New covers.

  • Vol. I (Orach Chaim §1-215): [7], 5-124, 124-169 pp. Stains and moth holes. Two glosses in a later handwriting. Fair condition.
  • Vol. II (Orach Chaim §242-408): [3], 175, 64 pp. The first pages were bound out of order. Stains. Good condition.
  • Vol. III (Orach Chaim §429-551): [2], 128; 96 pp. Inner title page and the last page are missing. Stains. Good condition.
  • Vol. IV (Yoreh De’ah and Choshen Mishpat): [2], 167 pp.
  • Vol. V (responsa): 42 pp. Stains. Good condition.
