Special letter from C”K Admor the Rebbe of Lubavitch, packed with blessings – for success of a match, an everlasting union. Dated 27 of Kislev, 5713 (Dec. 15, 1952).

In the letter, the Rebbe writes:
“It should be in a good and successful time… for blessing and success to build an everlasting union… Chassidic Nachas from all your children… with a blessing of Mazel Tov.”

In addition to the special blessings, the Rebbe guides the groom’s father on how he can influence his son before the marriage in topics of Torah and Chassidus. At the end, the Rebbe adds a long section dealing with the recipient’s grandson, who was suffering from an illness.

From the letter’s content we can glean that the recipient’s daughter had moved away from the path of Torah, and the Rebbe instructs the father
“to find out by his daughter… if said grandson was born in purity, and if, G-D forbid, this is not so…” although it may seem like an irreparable situation, the Rebbe gives guidance on how she can correct this, based on the teachings of the Tanya.
