Letter typed on official letterhead of Admor Rayatz, signed in his hand “Yosef Yitzchak”. Sent to his relative Rabbi Azriel Zelig Slonim.
In the opening of the letter he blesses him and sends guidance regarding his health and that of his wife: “Certainly he is doing the medicined which the doctor ordered him to do, and Hashem will send him succor, and also his wife is certainly following the doctor’s orders and Hashem will send her healing and they will raise their children to Torah and Chuppa and good deeds and Hashem will provide him his livelihood in abundance and peace”.
Further on, the Rebbe writes of the pleasure he received from the Hisva’adus of Ana”sh: “which, thanks to Hashem, brings much benefit, such news are a succor for me, and Hashem will be a help to them in body and spirit”; he also reports of his own health: “My state of health is as it was and I am feeling weakness and especially as I have caught a cold twice, Hashem will strengthen my health and send me healing and gladden my heart to receive good (tidings) from our people and the students”.
At the end, the Rebbe Rayatz asks that he send his greetings to the people and the Temimim, “and tell them of my blessings in body and spirit”.
