The letter was sent to “The esteemed and honorable Gaon, who is known… Rabbi Shlomo Yosef” (Zevin, one of the leading Rabbis of Chabad in Eretz Yisrael). In his letter, the Rebbe Rayatz blesses “upon the upcoming year… I hereby bless you and your household… With a blessing for Kesiva Vechasima Tova to a good and sweet year in physical and spiritual”.
