Holy belt: Replica of the Gartel which was sent for the personal use of C”K Admor the Nasi of the generation, incorporating threads from the Gartel which the Rebbe personally used on top of his Tzitzis.
In 1974 the Rubinstein family of Yerushalayim, who made unique, handmade silk Gartlech, sent a Gartel of theirs to C”K Admor the Nasi of the generation.
The Rebbe accepted the gift, and sent the family members a letter of thanks, which included a check for payment, drawn on his personal bank account and signed by him.
This Gartel was made as an exact replica of that Gartel. Handmade of 18 silk threads, it incorporates threads from the Gartel personally used by the Rebbe over his Tzitzis, which had been given by the righteous Rebbetzin Mrs. Chaya Mushka to one of the sextons who worked in the Rebbe and Rebbetzin’s house,
